The police are making it difficult for me to make a statement regarding domestic abuse. I am transgender and accusing a female of abuse. I have a preponderance of evidence, and all the District Attorney (DA) needs is my statement that I already turned in to the Police Department (PD). Can I subpoena the officer in charge of my case to produce the 'filed' statements? I am in Solano County, California. Is there a specific form I can use, and if not, what wording should I use for pleading?
