We engaged Northern Arizona Credit, Inc. (NAC) on 8/1/2016 to collect a balance of $1,821.46 from a $10,000 judgment. We received monthly payments from the debtor but they stopped. We then turned the balance over to NAC for collection services on 8/1/2016. We signed an agreement with NAC but have not heard from them and were informed they are not a collection agency. What are my options regarding NAC's non-performance?

I bought a used car from a dealer and encountered issues shortly after. I tried to return the car and stop payment on my deposit, but the dealer is threatening to press charges for felony fraud. Are they covered under the law in Ohio to do this?

I am the DPOA for my father. He lived with my sister for 5 years, during which she collected $1,200.00 a month. Now that he is in a private home, my sister wants to sue me, claiming I cashed stocks for personal gain. We did not keep records of our transactions. What should I do?

On 10-17-16, my employer presented me with a Notice of Separation stating I was laid off in compliance with CUIC 1089. I received a final paycheck short of 8 hours and a 6-page Separation Agreement and Release offering a $7000 severance to be paid upon my signature within 21 days. The severance amount matches what my employer owes me for back unpaid hours worked since 2015. I feel I should not have to sign for money owed to me and am seeking a professional opinion on whether to sign the agreement. Should I sign the agreement for the severance, or should I seek legal action for the unpaid wages?
