In civil court, if a Defendant's lawyer fails to disclose after both a granted motion to disclose AND a subsequently served Duces Tecum Subpoena, is that lawyer in Default, Contempt of Court, just "out of compliance," or all of the above? Two FBI agents came to my door claiming they were canvassing the neighborhood for a criminal investigation involving a neighbor. I didn't see them talk to anyone else and I'm wondering if they were using the 'canvass' as a ruse. Do they lie about such things?

I served some papers for a Pro Se litigant who won his case in California. He has sent me a Judgment from a California Superior Court, the Minutes from an Appeal (Trial De Novo), the Court Clerk's Certification of Mailing, and a copy of the Plaintiff's Claim and Order from small claims court. He asked me to file these documents at the Denton County Courthouse in Texas. Is this something that can be done in Texas, and what is the process for filing out-of-state judgments?

I have legal guardianship of my mother and the court appointed her a conservator. Can I access her previous financial records, including bank and IRA statements, on my own or do I have to go through the conservator? We live in the state of Utah.
