What steps must I take to have the courts review my case for re-sentencing after having a previous charge dismissed and expunged, which was part of the reason the state was able to sentence under the habitual statute? This case was used to revoke my original deferred adjudicated probation that the state subsequently used as one of two prior convictions. While incarcerated, I filed a motion to expunge and was granted. However, I was paroled to serve out the remaining part of a 60-year sentence that legally is now null and void due to the granting of said motion to expunge. Can you please direct me to the proper people that can help obtain justice in this matter?
