I went to my primary care for injectables. A man, introduced as the practitioner's husband, entered the room without explanation and began assisting without my permission, touching my face harshly. This caused a blood vessel to break in my bot***** *****p, and the treatment didn't work as a result. I have asked for a refund, but the office claims to be separate from the practitioner's practice. I discussed the issue with the practice owner's assistant, who also had a similar experience. They've since told the practitioner not to bring her husband back with patients. I feel I am due a refund and an apology. What steps should I take to address this issue in Tennessee?

I am an OB-GYN, and another doctor, a maternal-fetal medicine doctor, has been documenting in patient charts since 6/1/19 that I have been seeing and evaluating his patients. I have never seen these patients, and he doesn’t physically see them either; he only directs residents over the phone. No doctor is seeing these patients, and the hospital is billing Medicare. What can I do to protect myself?
