A 55-year-old female had a routine screening colonoscopy and is experiencing increasing pain across her lower abdomen, just above the pubic bone. She has not had a bowel movement yet and has no fever. Is this just normal recovery?

I'm pretty sure I have otitis externa. I'm 54 years old and recently have had very itchy ears, presumably from allergies. I think I've injured the skin by scratching with a finger or q-tips. The ear canal is swollen almost shut and it's incredibly painful, sometimes interfering with sleep. I take pain meds for fibromyalgia daily and my ear still hurts. Can I treat this at home? I hate to bother doctors unnecessarily.

Over the last two months, I have gotten sick four different times with a variety of infections, including a mild fever, fatigue, a stomach bug, strep throat, and now a kidney or bladder infection. I have had a relatively clean diet and good workout regimen during this period. Could there be something going on with my immune system?

I have Addison's disease and take 2mg of Dex for 3 days followed by hydrocortisone for a day to prevent Dex buildup in my system. I also take testosterone for hypergonadism. I am 53 years old, weigh 190 lbs, and my weight has remained constant. Does the Dex dosage make sense?
