My toenails on both big toes stopped growing 2 years ago after chemotherapy. The nails are very thick, making it difficult to find shoes that fit. Should I have them removed, ground down, or try another approach? Will they ever grow back, or are they permanently damaged?

I have been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and prescribed Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg cap 2x a day for 42 pills. My doctor says that once I finish the medication, I will be cured and that there isn't an antibiotic that Lyme disease is resistant to. Is this true? Will I be cured? Will the symptoms recur? I am a healthy 63-year-old female who was bitten by a tick two summers ago, but I had no symptoms until now.

I am experiencing a severe burning sensation in my colon after bowel movements (BMS). There is no blood, and it is not due to hemorrhoids. The burning sensation lasts for about twenty minutes and then subsides until the next BMS. I am otherwise healthy and maintain a good weight. I am 66 and have had chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune illnesses most of my adult life. Recently, I was tested for EBV and have a high titer. My 41-year-old son believes I have given him the virus as he is tired all the time. Is it possible for me to have infected him after all these years through casual use of utensils, drinking glasses, sneezing, handling food, etc.? What information or resources can you provide?
