I’m a 26-year-old male who drank 4 Hennessy Red Bull drinks on an empty stomach, smoked hookah and two cigarettes, and then spat blood in the sink. I have a gum problem and a tooth that hurts when I bite down. I’m unsure if the bleeding is from my gum/tooth or internally from my stomach, as I’ve vomited blood before when drinking and my parents have a history of gastritis and ulcers. Should I be worried, and do you have any suggestions?

I am on Eliquis prescribed for an AFIB episode 3 years ago. The AFIB incident was preceded by an aggressive course of thyroid medication and testosterone. I have not had an AFIB situation since. I want to stop Eliquis. Advice?
