I am a 19-year-old African American female experiencing sharp pains in my head, sometimes on one side and behind my eye, followed by throbbing sensations, sensitive scalp, and stiff neck. I took 1k zpak plus 10 day amoxicillin 875 clav plus a 10 day cipro 500mg, twice a day, within a month. Would this most likely clear Gonorrhea if it existed? I have pain in the urethra but no discharge, and a dip test and culture for gonorrhea came back normal. My doctor thinks it’s Prostatitis. Should I continue with the current antibiotics or wait for symptoms to improve?
