I have been experiencing throbbing calf pain in my left calf, which first occurred while sleeping in the mountains and has returned after starting a workout regimen. There is no swelling, bruising, or warmth to the touch, and the pain is mostly at rest and while sleeping. I also have a knee injury but believe the calf pain is unrelated. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do about it?

About 3 weeks ago, I noticed unusual reddish-brown, squiggly-like bruises on my right leg, which appear more brown. The lower portion of my leg is usually swollen, especially in the evening. I work two full-time jobs, totaling about 18-20 hours daily, which requires a lot of standing. Recently, I noticed the same problem on my left leg, but it's lighter red, not as dark as the right leg, and has very little swelling. Can you please help?
