I have a super itchy back. I noticed what looked like a blood blister, which is now replaced by a puncture mark. Could this have been a bed bug bite? I also experienced fever chills since noticing the 'bite'. When did the itchiness start, and does it come and go? Does my skin look different (red, dry, scaley, raised, etc.)? Do I have any known allergies or other medical history the Doctor should know?

I accidentally got bit on the foot by my friend's German Shepherd, who is very territorial about food. The bite resulted in one small puncture, and the pain has mostly dissipated.
