I have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, and I experience stiffness in my right knee, which causes me to limp while walking. I was prescribed a steroid injection, but I haven't used it yet. Should I go for a cortisone injection when my knee is not causing much pain, and how can I treat the stiffness in my knee?

I have a problem with my legs. I used to be able to walk miles without pain, but now it hurts to walk even one mile. The pain started close to the end of August and is constant. It starts as dull pain and then becomes sharp and stabbing. I am 21 years old, do not take any medications, and have a family history of diabetes. The pain occurs only when I walk.

My 10-year-old daughter fell off her pony in a field, and her lower back hurts. Should I put a cold pack on it? The pain started at 5:10 today and comes and goes like a wave.
