I have severe hemorrhoids, levator spasm, and IBS. My colon specialist prescribed Tramadol for pain, and I've found it helps with both pain and IBS spasms. My GI wants me to try Lybrax for IBS, but I'm unsure about combining the two drugs. Do some doctors prescribe Tramadol for IBS? Can I use Tramadol long-term for managing these conditions, especially since it helps me sleep through the pain?

I have been experiencing strange, hard-to-describe symptoms for the past two years, including recurring episodes of rapid heartbeats, heavy breathing, and strange sensations in my chest, which last about 15 to 30 seconds and occur every two to three weeks for 3 to 5 days.
