I am an 84-year-old woman under stress with a son living back at home. Today, especially, my pulse is all over the place and I keep feeling as if I am about to faint. (I have never fainted in my life) Is there cause for concern? I don't want to call the EMTs and have ambulances and fire engines come.

I have a high white blood cell count, ESR, NEU, LYM, and C Reactive Protein, and low vitamin D. I experience dizziness, nausea, headaches, numbness with pins and needles in my fingers, hands, feet, and lips, and I'm exhausted. I've had a negative temporal artery biopsy, seen specialists who ruled out thyroid, blood, ear issues, and neurologists who thought it was ear-related. An MRI showed white matter, and I have migraines. I'm positive for MTHFR but don't have a clotting disorder. I'm 45 years old and use a cane, and my mental sharpness has declined. I'm being treated at the National Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, but no one has been able to diagnose me. Any suggestions?

My left eye lid is sagging and my eye is sore and bloodshot. I've had a headache on the left side of my head for 2 weeks, no discharge, and I've had flu and been tired and stressed. The sagging just started tonight, there's no fluid, no bump, and no change in vision.

For the last 2 months, I've been experiencing severe fatigue, clogged ears, very irritable moods, and sharp pain in my head that varies daily. The pain is different each day, sometimes in my neck, ear, eye, etc. Pain meds do not help. I wake up feeling great, but the pain returns as soon as I stand up. I've also noticed that certain areas on my body have become very sensitive to temperature changes. I had an MRI last summer that was clear, and I had strep throat before these symptoms started. Could this be related to sinus inflammation, an autoimmune disease, or chronic fatigue syndrome?
