I am concerned about a transvaginal ultrasound due to ongoing abdominal pains. I have the full image but no report reading. The doctor mentioned there was no free fluid in the uterus, but I am worried about shadows on the right side of the uterus that look like a black circle. I am curious if this could be bowel or a normal ultrasound occurrence, and if it could be related to my pelvic pain. I have lost 38kg by checking carbs and limiting bread and potatoes. What I need to know is: Will the calcification increase? What are the potential long-term implications of DISH on my spine? What is the potential timeframe that the calcification becomes porous and brittle, and what happens then? And why do I feel the pain so severely in my neck and middle back?
