Can you tell me if there is a new treatment for Barrett's esophagus? I thought I read something about a new treatment that freezes the pre-cancer spots. I am 82 years old and am quite anxious. Thank you.

What can I do for orthostatic hypotension? I feel like I walk like a drunken sailor when I get up. I am on Antenonol 100 mg, lisinopril 20 mg, and hydrochlorthiazide 25 mg. My blood pressure drops when I stand up.

I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and for the last week or so, I've been suffering from bowel-related problems including terrible lower back pain, a constant feeling of needing to empty my bowels, incomplete bowel emptying, an uncomfortable pain in my rectum, and loose bowel movements. There is no blood or mucus. My GP thinks it's normal pregnancy hormones or pressure from the baby. Should I be concerned?

I suffer from restless leg syndrome and take Lyrica and Requip for treatment, but they cause me to feel very lethargic. I've read about a new treatment in Europe—a dopamine patch—that has few side effects. Have you heard of it? What is its status in the US? Is there a way I can use the patch? I am now trying acupuncture.

I have been experiencing a deep, sore feeling in my lungs that makes me feel like I need to cough, especially after running. This sensation has persisted for about two weeks and doesn't go away as it used to. I am a 42-year-old male, non-smoker, with a history of heart palpitations that specialists have deemed harmless. What could be causing this persistent lung discomfort?
