Hello and thank you for your time. A year ago, I received an abdominal CT scan with contrast, and last week, post-birth, I received a head CT and the next day a chest CT with contrast. I came across an article by the American Cancer Society highlighting the connection between CT scans and developing cancer. Does this imply that I'll develop cancer due to these exposures or that I now have an increased risk of developing cancer? Is there any research out there supporting how to reverse the effects of this exposure?

I am diabetic and have an infection in the last joint of my finger. It's swollen, red, and painful. I've been using Neosporin with pain relief, but it only helps briefly. Should I go to an emergency room tomorrow, or could I wait until Monday to see my doctor?

Could I be infected with HIV if water from a public bathroom toilet bounced back onto my arm, which then touched my beverage, and I drank from the cup? What if the bounce back fluid landed on an open cut? Is there any need for HIV testing or to change my behavior?

I am a 35-year-old female with generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. Yesterday, I hit the top of my head hard on the corner of an upper kitchen cabinet. I experienced a mild numbing burning sensation and a mild headache sensation that comes and goes. I have had no other symptoms other than worry. Could I have slow internal bleeding and not know? Anything I should look out for?
