I am a 35-year-old female with generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. Yesterday, I hit the top of my head hard on the corner of an upper kitchen cabinet. I experienced a mild numbing burning sensation and a mild headache sensation that comes and goes. I have had no other symptoms other than worry. Could I have slow internal bleeding and not know? Anything I should look out for?

I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) that is currently under control. I have a shoulder problem unrelated to CRPS, where arthritis has destroyed the cartilage, causing deteriorated bones to rub together, making it impossible to raise my arm. My family doctor suggests surgery as the only option but is concerned about my history of CRPS. Should I proceed with surgery, and how do I find qualified specialists for this procedure?

I never drink coffee but yesterday drank a bunch of coffee sachets (containing diphotassium phosphate and tricalcium phosphate) and today I feel really weird and awful. I normally eat whole foods and drink herbal tea and water. It's been 10 hours since I last had some. How long might this effect last and is there anything I can do to help my body get this stuff out of its system? Would exercise help? I also feel really jittery and like I can hear the blood rushing in my head.

My daughter has been diagnosed with anxiety, OCD, possibly bipolar 2, and an underlying eating disorder. She is currently taking 2 mg of Abilify to help with her racing thoughts, anxiety, and depersonalization. However, after taking 1 mg of Abilify, she experienced nightmares, restless leg, leg cramps, racing heart, increased anxiety, sweating, insomnia, and numbness in her legs. Is this normal at such a low dose, and should she continue taking Abilify or try a different antidepressant like Luvox or Cymbalta?

I got a gunshot 12 years ago in the thigh left leg, where a 40 caliber bullet went in the back of the leg and came out the front. Over the years, I've had problems including pain, numbness in my foot, and a lack of control over my foot, which flops down when I don't have shoes on. The pain in my leg and foot is often severe, and sometimes I feel pain in my penis. What type of injury would you call this, and what seems to make the symptoms worse or better?

Why does my blood pressure increase when my pulse is lower, around 62, while it remains normal or near normal when my pulse is 73? I had aortic valve replacement last January and was taken off my blood pressure medication candesartan and put on a beta blocker. I came off the beta blocker in November and went back on candesartan 16mg twice a day, but now my pulse is much higher.
