During a catheter ablation attempt, a clot in the atrium was found. How can the clot be dissolved? I am currently on Warfarin 2.5 mg/day for 3 weeks now. I am an 83-year-old male with constant Afib.

I had a hydrocelectomy in Jan 2008, resulting in an attachment of scar tissue from the testicle to the scrotum at the incision point. The urologist says this is very infrequent and will not perform surgery to separate them due to the risk of worsening the condition. The main issue is constant and increasing pain in the testicle, which the urologist suggests treating with an orchiectomy. I am hesitant and wonder if there are any other options or treatments to relieve the pain before considering removal of the testicle. My medical coverage is through a major HMO in Northern CA. What do you suggest?
