For a couple of months, I've noticed white mucus in my stool, especially in the first part of the stool, which is harder when I'm dehydrated, like in the morning. The rest of the stool is normal brown with no blood, except for a small amount seen after not eating well. I'm more hydrated and eating healthier as the day progresses, and the mucus is less noticeable or absent. I have no other symptoms such as abdominal pain, fevers, or blood in stool. I'm currently taking atorvastatin for cholesterol and have been overweight for a few years, but I'm now eating better and losing weight through exercise and a healthier lifestyle. Is this mucus a cause for concern, and could it be related to IBS?

I think I have an eye infection. My eye is swollen, there are white bumps on my eyelid, and it hurts to blink. I am 27 years old and currently taking Dexadrine, Bupropion, and Pantoprazole. I also get cold sores. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have very bad gastrointestinal problems and I’m a healthy 18-year-old who is constantly active. I have bowel movements 5-8 times a day on average and I never have normal bowel movements; it’s always either a very small amount and I feel constipated or it’s just gas or it’s straight diarrhea. Never normal and usually one of the three.

Is it absolutely necessary for me to get the remaining pieces of a sebaceous cyst removed right now, even though the incision is completely healed, there is no swelling or redness, and it only feels a little tender along the scar?

What is the best test to diagnose small bowel cancer, and would an abdominal CT scan be sufficient to detect it if I have abdominal pain and rectal bleeding at the age of 25, after having undergone IV and oral contrast for abdominal and pelvic imaging, as well as endoscopy and colonoscopy?

I have been experiencing severe symptoms including dizziness, feeling faint, inability to balance, and brain fog since recovering from a viral illness after a family vacation in Florida. The symptoms worsen when I stop taking Clonazepam, which only masks the symptoms. I have tested negative for COVID multiple times. I am concerned that these symptoms may be a result of a viral infection affecting my brain, rather than just panic attacks. What could be causing these symptoms and what further testing or treatment should I pursue?
