For about a year and a half, I have experienced dizziness or balance problems that have hindered my daily activities. The symptoms are most severe in the morning and improve as the day progresses. I feel unstable when walking and have fallen several times. What could be causing this and what treatments are available?

I was taking Ambien for sleep, but a neurologist diagnosed me with memory loss (Alzheimer's disease) and advised me to stop taking Ambien due to potential brain damage. I have tried ZzzQuil without success. I would like to know how I can cleanse my body. Any advice? I don't have major health issues, but I sometimes throw my back out and have headaches once or twice a month. My blood work is normal, and I take vitamins and take care of myself. I had a brain tumor (Meningioma, 3.5 cm diameter) removed nine months ago, and I still have some pain around the surgery area, though it's tolerable. I am a 51-year-old female.
