Hard coughing or heavy sneezing causes sharp pains to run through my body like lightning, leaving extreme aches especially in my arms that last more than an hour. There is no swelling, and the aches have been occurring for a few months. I recently choked on food, which seemed to trigger the lightning-like pains. I am 60 years old and have never felt anything like this before. Motrin does not help with the aches. I have neck pain, weakness, numbness in the arms, and balance issues with walking. What could be causing these symptoms?

My 6-year-old has the flu and has developed a wet cough, along with being very tired, having a bad headache, a fever, and a sore throat. She has been on Tamiflu since yesterday afternoon and is also taking Tylenol and Motrin. Her temperature is currently at 99.8°F. Do we need to go to the ER?

An 82-year-old female has extremely low energy, with symptoms beginning on 2/6. She has had two doctor visits and one ER visit, with all lab tests coming back normal. She drinks 60 oz of water daily but eats very little. She is on multiple medications including Sotalol, Carvedilol, Hydrochlorothiazide, Lasartan, Amlodipine, Metformin, Ranitidine, Doxazosin, Atorvastatin, Rinitidine, Trazodone (as needed), and Baclofen. She has a medical history of a kidney removed due to cancer in 2004, diverticulitis with left side colon removal in 2007, and a defibrillator implanted in 2015. What could be causing her low energy, and what additional tests should be considered?

Despite a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, and no genetic history of cardiovascular disease, I am seeking insight into why this condition developed. I'm a 20-year-old male with a strange pain on the head of my penis, redness around the foreskin, and inability to retract it. The symptoms have been present for about 3 days. I have not used any medication and have not seen a doctor. I have experienced pain during urination, mild swelling around the foreskin and head of the penis, and have not had unprotected sex. What could be the issue and what should I do?
