Hello Doctor, my name is Maggie. I have a pressure-like feeling making me feel like I need to urinate, and when I do, I get a tingling feeling. I have never felt anything like this before. What could this be and is there something I can take over the counter?

I experience headrushes or a general feeling of body rushes that wake me up at night. I have Atrial Flutter, underwent an ablation, and am on Metoprolol and Flecanide. These symptoms started before the ablation. What could be causing these symptoms?

My boyfriend injured his hand, specifically his two middle finger nails were shattered by a lawnmower blade. He has taken Aleve and wrapped the injury to stop the bleeding. I have been experiencing severe early morning wrist and hand pain for approximately 6 months. The pain is not burning but is severe and inflamed, and occasionally awakens me. There is also some numbness in the thumbs. I have a history of neck fused disc problems, right shoulder joint issues needing reverse replacement, left shoulder moderate arthritis, and a history of excessive lifting as a retired nurse. I also had a horrific fall three years ago resulting in a broken nose, lacerations, front teeth repair, and a concussion, which affected my memory and mind. Shortly after, I developed Guttate psoriasis, and my last physical labs showed low T-SHIRT, T-3T4, and elevated HlAC, which my doctor treated with glucophage 500mg QD, and thyroid levels are now normal. My doctor suspects Hashimoto’s syndrome. I have also had depression with anxiety for over 35 years. What could be causing this pain, and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I received a call from my doctor's office stating I need to return for another exam, possibly a biopsy, regarding my recent pap smear. I am 58 years old, have not had a period since 2006, and have never experienced any issues. I am not sexually active, divorced since 2001, and have no bleeding or pain. How worried should I be?
