How is it possible that someone receiving B12 injections for a severe deficiency could end up with critically low hemoglobin requiring multiple transfusions, and should this not have been noticed in follow-up lab testing during the course of receiving B12 injections?

I was diagnosed with ST segment changes with anterolateral wall ischemia. Is this reversible? I have seen a doctor in the ER for another issue and found out about this from my medical discharge summary. Should the ER MD have mentioned this to me? There was a definite change from a prior EKG. I am taking atenolol, fenofibrate, lovastatin, omega 3, cymbalta, omeprazole, seroquel, and clonidine. I also have a history of chronic pain from a serious MVA in 2001, tachyarrhythmias with HR into the 140s, and had a seizure last week after flushing medications down the toilet. I tried to self-treat shortness of breath and ended up taking 1000mg of atenolol over a 6-hour period.

I’d like some assistance interpreting blood results. My dermatologist sent me for an ANA and urine analysis because she suspected I had Lupus with a rash on my arm. I just got the results and the ANA was positive with a speckled appearance the number I had was 1.40 which according to the range was just at the negative midly elevated zone. The urine analysis came back as turbid as the color with two things a little high. The wbc/hpf came back as 10-20 and the normal range is 0-5. And squamous Epi cells came back 6-10 and the normal is 0-5. There was no protein, glucose, or blood in urine and all other blood work (complete CBC) including wbc and kidney functions were normal. My first question is lupus a death sentence? Should I be overly concerned with the mild elevation of the urine results? Does that mean my kidneys are failing?

I think I forgot to take my venlafaxine and valsartan this morning as I usually do. Would it be safe to take my normal dose now even if I did take it this morning and don't remember? Two sick kids at home make for a tired mom! Thank you!
