I was helping to steady a ladder by leaning hard against it, and I felt a slight twinge in my groin. I noticed a swelling that disappears when I am sitting or lying down, but appears when standing. There is no pain, and the swelling goes back in place when I put my hand on it. Is this a rupture? It is a little embarrassing in the summer when one wants to wear shorts or a swimming costume. 5 years ago, I started experiencing a clear discharge from my right nostril that nothing would stop except Claritin D. I also had right-sided trigeminal neuralgia for 5 years, which was relieved after discovering and treating a terribly infected tooth. However, the discharge is still present and gets worse at night around 9pm. I'm concerned about a possible cavitation. I've taken penicillin and tried various homeopathic remedies, including Sabad, which worked for one day. I have an appointment with an ENT in a month. What do you think?
