My wife's kidneys are functioning at 14% and will soon need a transplant. I am a match and am 64 years old with RA. I currently take plaquenil and methotrexate (7.5mg/wk, down from 10mg/wk). I also stopped taking Celebrex three months ago. My rheumatologist says my arthritis is less severe than 75% of her other patients and is reluctant to stop methotrexate entirely. I have regular blood tests showing my liver and kidneys are fine. Can I be a donor if I continue taking plaquenil and reduce my methotrexate to 5mg/wk or 2.5mg/wk?

I am experiencing a severe cluster headache cycle that has been ongoing for 4 weeks, occurring every 5 to 6 hours daily. I have a history of these cycles occurring every 3 years, starting in 2004, but this is the worst one. I have medical insurance through Humana National POS Open Access but do not have a primary care physician. Do I need a referral to see a neurologist, and if so, how can I obtain one?

I am seeking a second opinion on my symptoms, which include an enlarged painless node, mouth ulcer, black spot, severe joint pains in the elbow, knee, and ankle, throbbing sharp pain on the side of the neck, and muscle aches. My exposure was receiving a happy ending massage with nipple sucking and finger/knuckle cracking. I had a negative HIV Duo Test at 28 days, negative Gonorrhea and Chlamydia tests four days after exposure, and my doctor found bacteria in my urine and prescribed cipro. Could I have contracted an STD, and how accurate is the HIV test at 28 days?
