I had a knee fracture and I am 250 lbs. A family member was turning me and we heard a pop. Upon going to the doctor, I found out I had low potassium. Could that have caused the fracture?

Hi Dr. Basu, Dr. Thomas suggested I be tested for Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO). Is this something you would suggest? I ask because I was reading how the MD normally treats it, and it said they use amoxicillin. I just got off a 14-day cycle of amoxicillin, and while it was amazing with the other issue, I'm not sure it's the right direction to go. Thanks, doctor!
