I am 73, female, normal weight. On April 7, I experienced an extremely strong heartbeat, felt on the left side, so strong it made my neck and ear hurt. Not fast, not irregular. I had many heart tests including a Zio patch and my heart was found to be normal. These symptoms have abated, but now I develop severe pain in my shoulders, hips, lower back, and down the back of my legs during the night. This abates as the day progresses and is helped by acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Have you had any recent injuries? What seems to make the pain better or worse? Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Can Coumadin and Lovenox lower blood pressure? The patient, who usually has normal blood pressure (110/70), has experienced significantly lower blood pressure (80/56 and 70/47) since being diagnosed with DVT and prescribed Coumadin and Lovenox. My mother passed away on 5/6 due to what I was told was a major stroke. However, on her death certificate, cardiopulmonary arrest is listed as the final cause of death, with the stroke being listed as a result of the cardiac arrest. I want to know why the doctors would withhold this information from my family and me, especially since I was at the hospital the entire time she was there. Something just doesn't seem right.
