I am a 41-year-old male diagnosed with NAFLD. I drink alcohol from Thursday to Sunday, averaging 40-50 drinks per week. I plan to take 32 days off alcohol starting on February 13th and have added NAC and milk thistle to my supplements. My AST was 38 and ALT was 64 in September 2022. I had an ultrasound showing no cirrhosis detected. My main questions are: 1. Will my AST and ALT levels have risen substantially since September 2022? 2. What are the chances of developing cirrhosis from September 2022 to now? 3. Will 32 days off alcohol clear up my condition? 4. How long does it typically take to develop cirrhosis with my diagnosis of NAFLD?

I’m having constant wrist and thumb pain that onset suddenly and has become debilitating. I have tried over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol, ibuprofen, and diclofenac, but none of them worked. I also have a horrible sore throat and took half of a Percocet, which helped both issues. The pain is both sharp and dull, and movement causes sharp pain. I have had a fever that has not gone down even with Tylenol and ibuprofen, with the lowest in 48 hours being 100.1 and the highest 103. The wrist pain has been since Christmas, and the throat started Sunday. I also have some tingling and numbness in certain positions. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My husband and I tested Covid positive 4 days ago. While my symptoms were mild, he had chills, fever, cold, and some occasional dry cough. Symptoms have improved and he is fever-free since 2 days, and all other symptoms significantly subsided too. However, since this afternoon he has some dry cough. His oxygen levels are at 98-99%. Should this cough be concerning?
