I’m having constant wrist and thumb pain that onset suddenly and has become debilitating. I have tried over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol, ibuprofen, and diclofenac, but none of them worked. I also have a horrible sore throat and took half of a Percocet, which helped both issues. The pain is both sharp and dull, and movement causes sharp pain. I have had a fever that has not gone down even with Tylenol and ibuprofen, with the lowest in 48 hours being 100.1 and the highest 103. The wrist pain has been since Christmas, and the throat started Sunday. I also have some tingling and numbness in certain positions. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My husband and I tested Covid positive 4 days ago. While my symptoms were mild, he had chills, fever, cold, and some occasional dry cough. Symptoms have improved and he is fever-free since 2 days, and all other symptoms significantly subsided too. However, since this afternoon he has some dry cough. His oxygen levels are at 98-99%. Should this cough be concerning?

I have a bad cough and feel like I might lose my voice. I've had the cough for a couple of days and it's constant and dry, with no tightness in my chest. I'm currently using Tylenol and I'm 32 years old. I don't have a fever, difficulty breathing, or Covid. What should I do?

An adult male is experiencing fever, vomiting, pain in the lower back and abdomen, and diarrhea, which started 3 days ago. The pain is on and off achy, and he has been in bed the whole time. He also has a bad headache, is extremely thirsty, and has been drinking lots of water. He uses tobacco and alcohol, had his gallbladder removed several months ago, and is on pantoprazole and blood pressure medication. I am a 61-year-old vegetarian with high B12 levels (>2000) for several years, despite not using B12 supplements. My PCP does not consider this a significant issue, but I am concerned due to my general poor health, including extreme tiredness. Should I consult a hematologist or GI specialist for further evaluation?

I have white spots on my tonsils and on the roof of my mouth/throat and I’m not sure what the cause is. They aren’t painful or anything. Can it still be strep even if there is no pain or sore throat or anything like that? Are there any STDs that I should be concerned about?
