I am a 44-year-old female experiencing recurring lower back pain and severe bloating, making me look about 7 months pregnant. I have had a small cyst on my left ovary and irregular periods, recently diagnosed with early menopause and started HRT, which hasn't helped the bloating. I also have recurring mouth abscesses and a vitamin D deficiency. Why is my stomach bloating despite eating very little food, and what can be done about it?

I have a 26-year-old disabled son with autism living in a group home. He is excessively hungry and thirsty, does not chew his food, and often swallows it whole. He experiences constipation episodes that trigger aggression. He drinks Coke products which seem to relieve some symptoms but are not healthy. He takes Temazepam 30 mg and Diazepam 10 mg twice daily. His bloodwork returned to normal after discontinuing Abilify and Chlorpromazine. I am concerned about the 40 lb unexplained weight loss. Autism does not fully explain these symptoms. What could be overlooked?

My daughter, 19, has been in the hospital twice in the last 5 weeks with severe stomach pain. A laparoscopy found nothing but a slightly inflamed bowel, yet she is still in severe pain. Painkillers aren't working, and she can't be left in this condition. What could be causing this pain, and what further tests or treatments should be considered?
