I am a 68-year-old female who quit smoking 3.5 years ago. I have a chronic cough that produces clear frothy phlegm and has recently intensified, producing more white or yellow phlegm. When lying on my back at night, my chest rattles on exhale and I feel the need to cough constantly, making sleep difficult. Lying on my side stops the rattling. I am also a breast cancer survivor who underwent left-side radiotherapy 16 years ago. What is causing this cough and should I see a doctor?

Do I have to choose between treating my chronic depression and the possible recurrence of breast cancer or cancer in other parts of my body when taking hormone suppression drugs like exemastane, anastrazole, or tamoxifen? I currently take 60 mg of Cymbalta, which I've read interacts with tamoxifen.

I have severe Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) with enthesitis and restrictive pulmonary disease, unresponsive to biologic drugs and DMARDs. I am on continuous oxygen and have limited mobility due to pain. I am seeking information on a surgical procedure involving transplant surgery and removal of connective tissue fused to the rib cage, as seen in an episode of The Doctors. Is this surgery possible, and if so, which facility can perform it?

I'm taking a calcium channel blocker and experiencing swelling in one ankle and calf. Could the medication be the cause? The swelling goes away overnight and there's no tenderness, redness, or tight feeling in the calf.

I have a history of open heart surgery due to 80% blockage in the left main artery and hypertrophy, which included radial artery grafts and an aortiomy in 2002. I have had trace mitral regurgitation and a dilated left atrium since then. Recently, a thoracic echocardiogram showed mild mitral regurgitation, a dilated atrium, and sclerotic aortic valve leaflets. I am experiencing headaches, angina, wheezing, and chest pain. What is the most appropriate test to diagnose my current condition, and what does a wellness health panel consist of?
