I am a provider with an uninsured patient who is a 31-year-old female experiencing random episodes of headache, tongue numbness, double vision, and motor skill slowing. She has had normal full blood panel, CT head without contrast, EKG, and eye exam within the past two months. She is athletic, takes no medications, and has no known health issues except for these episodes, which make me concerned for MS. Her family has a history of diabetes mellitus. What tests should I order to determine if she needs an MRI and if she has MS?
