I am experiencing severe fatigue, diarrhea, occasional rectal bleeding, dehydration, confusion, depression, and body pains. I am looking for a doctor on Cape Cod who specializes in these issues. My old doctor is no longer serving me, and I have Blue Cross of RI for insurance. What should I do?

I am 60 years old with a long history of kidney disease, including bilateral UPJ obstructions and renal arterial stenosis on the right. I have both kidneys with adequate combined function. I have wrestled with high blood pressure since my teen years, medicated since 1976. My blood pressure has been consistently dropping, and I experience low pressure, particularly while trying to exercise or do light physical projects. I also have a kidney infection, night sweats, and a 'bubble' (gas?) in the bone of my right pelvic bone that we are watching. My blood pressure continues to fluctuate, and I often feel faint when standing up. I am under the care of multiple specialists but am seeking further understanding and recommendations for managing my blood pressure and other symptoms. What could be causing my blood pressure to drop, and what additional tests or specialists should I consider?

I slammed my shin into a chair last night, resulting in significant swelling and a small cut. I iced and compressed it overnight and continued with ice and compression this morning. The swelling has reduced by about half. I am a 53-year-old healthy female bartender. Should I work tonight and stand on it all night? Should I get an X-ray? What should I do?

My cholesterol level is 289 and my LDL is 177. Do I need treatment? I don't know if I have high blood pressure. I do not smoke. I do not have diabetes. No family history of heart attack. No personal history of heart attack. My HDL is 84. I do not take any medication. I suffer from allergies but otherwise very healthy.

If a teenage boy athlete with suspected connective tissue disorder, who had severe bilateral hip bursitis, supraspinatus tendonitis, and tenosynovitis, and is now in apparent remission, takes an ANA test, will the titer be low or negative?

My husband is complaining of much soreness and hardness on the upper right side of his chest. He also has been told that he has a nodule on his left lung. He is jumping to the conclusion that he has cancer. I am asking if maybe it is sarcoidosis or something benign.
