I am having problems with my right hip, including difficulty lifting it into the car, putting on clothes, getting up and down, and bending over. My doctor had me get a cortisone shot in my hip, which helped for three weeks but then the symptoms returned worse. Does this mean my problem is my hip? I also have severe arthritis as per my recent X-rays.

My 18-month-old daughter had a high fever 2 weeks ago, which was followed by a urinary tract infection due to fecal matter. We are completing 10 days of antibiotics. The doctor wants to see her again 7 days after the antibiotics are done and may order an ultrasound. I wanted to get your opinion on this and whether vesicoureteral reflux might be involved.
