I bought a battery-operated nail filing kit that was sold as new on Amazon, but the box was not sealed. After soaking the tips in 70% isopropyl alcohol for 60 minutes and using the product, I accidentally made a tiny cut on my toe. I am worried about the risk of hepatitis C if the item was previously used by someone else, especially since I read that alcohol doesn't kill hepatitis C on surfaces. Is there any risk to this incident, and can you reassure me about the potential contamination?

Should an Endo ordering a low dose Dex test for a patient who sleeps during the day account for the reversed sleep schedule when scheduling the blood draw? The patient usually sleeps from 4am to Noon and had their blood draw at 1pm. The patient has many symptoms of Cushing's and was recently diagnosed with Cushing's.

I have blood in my spit and I'm anxious about whether it could be a sign of cancer. I had an EGD (Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) in May 2021 and I'm 40 years old. I'm worried if the blood is coming from my throat, esophagus, or lungs. Could it be related to my parotid gland or esophagus? Should I be concerned about cancer?

I used a nasal spray last night and now I have pressure and sharp pain in my left ear, similar to the feeling during a plane taking off. The pain is constant. I'm taking iron supplements and I'm 21 years old. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I had unprotected sex on May 28th and took Plan B within 24 hours. My period before Plan B was from May 15th to May 20th, and after Plan B, I got my period on June 11th, which was lighter than usual and had smaller clots. The last day of my period was June 15th. I have been feeling extremely tired and a little nauseous. I'm worried I might be pregnant but then I got my period, so I'm confused. Additionally, I'm taking warfarin, and after taking Plan B, my INR level has been high. They've tried to change my dose but it's either too low or too high, and other than Plan B, I haven't taken anything else. What does this mean, and should I be concerned about being pregnant or my INR levels?
