I broke my hamate about 25 days ago. The pain is almost negligible now, but I still have acute pain when my pinky is involved in any pressure-needing movements, and turning a cap is very painful. I can squeeze things and turn my wrist without extreme pain, but squeezing is still an issue. Should I go to the ER if the pain continues to affect daily activities after 4 weeks?

I have been experiencing moderate tensions and slight pain in my left shoulder, more in the left over arm, under arm, and on the front of my left hand and some of the fingers. Sometimes I have a spinning sensation in my lower arm and hand. This morning I also noticed a slight pain in my lower jaw, which can also be felt when walking, but no chest pain or radiating from my chest. Sometimes this sensation in my jaw or throat is not increased by more vigorous activity. Additionally, I have been concerned about my heart condition and whether my symptoms could be related to ALS. Could you provide your professional opinion on these symptoms and whether further medical tests are needed?

I have a contact lens stuck on my eye since Friday night. It's causing bloodshot eyes, stinging, inflammation, pain, swelling, dryness, and irritation. What should I do?

My partner was diagnosed with celiac disease last week. In solidarity, I decided to get tested using a mail-order kit from Everlywell. I tested positive for TTG IgA, but I never really had symptoms. How accurate is the Everlywell test? If I see my doctor, what other test should I recommend? How many people have celiac disease without symptoms?

What sort of test do I need to diagnose a lump in the palm of my hand that I first noticed about 6 weeks ago? The lump is rock hard, fixed, and doesn’t go away. I am 67 years old, have SVT, Sjogrens Syndrome, Focal Nodular Hyperplasia, and have a history of a myxoma removal. I take gabapentin for back pain and Nexium for acid reflux.

I am a 54-year-old female with normal blood pressure but slightly overweight, and I have Protein C and Protein S deficiencies. My twin sister suffered a PE at age 24, and our mother had a stroke in her late 40s, leading to vascular dementia. Should I be concerned about my weight, given my family history and blood conditions?
