I experienced strong stomach pain radiating to my back after a meal, followed by vomiting and symptoms of light fever and joint pain. I was hospitalized and underwent tests including blood tests, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, and a heart echography, all of which were mostly normal except for a borderline ECG and elevated CRP. I was monitored for two days and released after a follow-up ECG under physical activity was normal. I was told that sometimes women's ECG can be atypical and there was a suspicion of myocardial ischemia that was not confirmed. I was advised to have another test in 10 days. I am concerned about the possibility of coronary disease and whether stomach problems could be related to this type of pain. I also had an abdominal echo and CT scan in October that did not show any issues with my gallbladder, but there was a mention of discrete homogeneous thickening of the gallbladder wall.

I was given prednisone for a sunburn a month ago. I had my thyroid removed in October 2011. My T-3 uptake is 43, TSH is 0.12, T-4 is 1.9, and T3-free was 3.5 and then 2.9 two days later. Why are they not doing anything and want me to see my regular doctor on Monday? Should I be concerned before Monday? I went to a different hospital today and they wouldn't even draw my blood!

I have stage 4 kidney disease with a creatinine level of 2.3 and a GFR of 22. About 10 hours ago, I experienced pain in my ankles that spread up my calves, and now my legs are swollen and painful to walk. I have many physical problems, including hypertension, allergies, migraines, fibromyalgia, high cholesterol, high lipids, anemia from kidney damage, COPD, CHF, asthma, IBS, gout, and a history of spinal and shoulder surgeries. I am not diabetic. What do you think could be causing this?

I am a 43-year-old woman experiencing severe bladder control issues. I drink a lot of water, often a quart within an hour, which leads to frequent and urgent needs to urinate, often resulting in incontinence. This is particularly challenging when I also need to have a bowel movement. I am concerned about multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson's disease, but I do not have weakness or numbness in my legs. I also experience eye muscle pulsations under my right eye when tired. What could be causing these symptoms, and is there a way to manage them?

I am a 31-year-old female who was hospitalized for right lower lobe pneumonia and had a WBC count of 22, which decreased to 14 upon discharge. My pneumonia has cleared up, but I have developed daily hives, shortness of breath, severe dizziness, trouble thinking and finding words, and periodic cramps in my armpits, hips, and ribs. My WBC count is now back up to 19. I've been on steroids, antibiotics, and an inhaler for three weeks. My NP doesn't seem to know what's going on, and I'm losing faith in her. I cannot return to work due to shortness of breath and difficulty talking for too long or doing too much. Please advise!
