I found a nodule at my clavicle area that feels elongated and rounded. I was sent for a CT scan of my neck. Should I be concerned, and what could this nodule be?

I have acid reflux, and despite taking medications like Pontoprazole and Cipoxaline, I still experience constant dry cough, throat pain, swollen tongue with bruises, headache, and a hoarse voice. I am 65 years old and have been dealing with these symptoms since December. Additionally, my mother has Monoclonal Gammopathy, and I am concerned if this could be related to my symptoms. What can be done to manage these symptoms and determine their cause?

I asked about the oral supplement SAM-e and its effects, particularly in reducing ADHD medication. I stopped using it due to concerns about potential adverse interactions and withdrawal symptoms, which some people reported. I wanted to know if there are any health risks associated with SAM-e and if I should consider resuming its use, possibly in a preventative dose.

I have a sore head, ears, and throat from my granddaughter, who gave me her sickness. My whole family has been having this for six weeks, and I'm the last one to get it, starting four days ago. I'm fighting it, but they all took a Z pack to get better, and I'm not feeling well, especially with the holidays coming. I don’t want to be too sick. How long have you had the soreness? Is this stable or getting worse? Have you used the antibiotics or anything similar before? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

If a patient is started on a therapeutic dose of 200mg of Lamictal from day 1 without titration, how long would it take for them to experience the full therapeutic effects for bipolar disorder and seizure control, and how long would it take for a patient on an ideal dose of 10mg of Buspirone twice daily to see full effectiveness for anxiety relief, assuming no titration?

I just got a message from my doctor after a CT scan yesterday. The doctor mentioned a possible pulmonary embolism found incidentally during a GI CT scan. The instructions are to follow up with the local ER for a CT pulmonary angiogram of the chest. Does this mean I should go to the ER now? I am 57 years old, a smoker, and thought my symptoms were just allergies. I have been congested and coughing normal phlegm, but not enough to use an inhaler. My heart rate is 84.
