I took my wife to the ER last Tuesday with symptoms resembling a possible heart attack. They conducted blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds of all major organs, concluding it was not a heart attack. They recommended a stress test, which she is scheduled for on Monday. The initial symptoms included severe pain in her upper abdomen that extended to under her right shoulder blade. The discharge papers indicate abdominal pain, acute, epigastric. The ER doctor also mentioned a possible pleuritic condition. The pain in her abdomen has subsided, but the pain under her shoulder blade continues. Any thoughts on the pleurisy factor?

I took one dose of azithromycin for chlamydia two months ago and was still positive for the infection after retesting. I was then prescribed another one-time dose of azithromycin and a 14-day course of doxycycline. Should I be cured after these antibiotics, or is there a chance I won't be?

I am 53 years old and had unprotected sex with a 30-year-old woman. A week ago, during a business trip, my testicle became swollen. I had no signs of STDs, no discharge, no burning, and no pain. I went to a clinic, and they prescribed doxycycline hyclate. The swelling went away in 36 hours. They said it was just a bacterial infection, but I got an STD test which came back negative. Could I really be negative, or am I just worried?
