I had a lap band in 2010 with no complications. I was recently hospitalized for depression and started on risperidone and nitrofurantoin for a UTI. Today, after taking these medications and eating a small meal, I experienced nausea, heartburn, and later vomited black. I am new to this area and don't have a doctor. What should I do?

My son has been sick with dark urine, yellow eyes, extreme tiredness, and loss of appetite. Blood work showed elevated liver enzymes and bilirubin levels, but tests ruled out hepatitis. A CT scan was done, and we are waiting for results. What could be causing these symptoms?

I have a UTI and was prescribed MAROBID, but I experienced severe side effects like double vision, shaky hands, and excessive sweating. I am also allergic to certain antibiotics like bacterium, Cypro, and penicillin. What other antibiotics can I take, and is there a lower dose option with Benadryl?

My daughter's TSH results were 0.77. Could she still have a thyroid problem? She has several symptoms of a thyroid problem such as hot flashes, dry brittle nails, sleeplessness or restless sleep, cold hands and feet. She is also calcium deficient, low iron, and vitamin D deficient. She has recently started taking all of the above vitamins. Should I follow up with an endocrinologist?
