I am experiencing discomfort in my abdomen, around the diaphragm area, which feels like trapped wind or acid indigestion. The pain intensifies when walking and sometimes requires me to remove my bra for relief. I have taken antacid tablets and passed wind, but the discomfort persists. Could this be just trapped wind, and what additional steps can I take to alleviate the discomfort?

After experiencing lower abdominal pain for many months, I was diagnosed with diverticular disease and advised to follow a high-fiber diet. Six months later, I still experience pain and have found a small, pea-sized lump in my lower left abdomen just below the surface. The lump is not painful to touch. Is this likely related to diverticular disease, or could it be something more serious?

When I sneeze, I experience a severe and sharp pain inside my rectum. There are no visible hemorrhoids, and I have a family history of colon cancer. Should I be concerned, and what could be causing this pain?

I have severe heartburn and have stopped taking Nexium due to concerns about its impact on my gut health. I've been using probiotics, ginger tea, and Tums, but the heartburn has worsened recently, possibly due to stress or medication changes. I also have sciatica and arthritis, for which I take Aleve, but it may be contributing to my heartburn. What can I do to manage my heartburn and pain effectively without worsening my gut health?

I am pre-diabetic with an A1c of 5.6. I have been experiencing headaches, abnormal EKGs, and high blood sugar levels (356 in the morning and 396 two hours after eating). I take Victoza 2.8 ml per day. How can I lower my blood sugar and should I try to see an endocrinologist sooner?
