I had an injection site reaction to a GLP1 medication (Trulicity) and am trying to figure out if this means I have an allergy that would prevent me from using an oral GLP1 medication. I didn’t have any systemic symptoms, just a red, raised itchy area around the injection site. I used the medication for six weeks without incident, then started developing the injection site reaction. I was rotating the injection site so that wasn’t the issue. I have photos if that would help. I discontinued use of the medication after two weeks with the site reaction. I need to get back on another medication for blood sugar and would like to use Rybelsus but my doctor said he was hesitant due to the response to the Trulicity injection. I’m wanting a second opinion as to whether it is a true allergy.

The injection site reaction you experienced with Trulicity appears to be a mild, localized reaction,...

I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and a parathyroid problem. My doctor wants me to take the Prolia shot. I'm 53 and hesitant to take it because I'm reading that it might make my bones weaker and more prone to breaking after I stop using it. My bone density score is -2.7. Do I really need it, and is there anything else that could replace these shots?

Why do I get a burning sensation in the back of my nasal passageway right where it meets the throat, only on my right side, on and off for several months, especially after being up for a few hours, with no known allergies and no other significant medical history?

I have severe COPD, allergies, and GERD. My allergy symptoms are triggered by weather changes and cats, making my COPD and GERD worse. I'm currently out of my COPD preventer medication and experiencing difficulty breathing and severe itching. What should I do?

Could this be herpes? I engaged in mutual masturbation on December 4, 2022, and experienced symptoms such as burning urination, inflamed urethra, groin and pubic itchiness, hemorrhoids, and armpit lymph nodes. I tested negative for STIs and UTI but still had symptoms. Could this be due to a bacterial infection, prostatitis, epididymitis, bladder spasms, anxiety, or something else?
