I was at the park about a week ago playing with some kids and now I have pinworms. I have taken over-the-counter pinworm medication but it's not helping. The itching and scratching in the anus area is very uncomfortable and irritating. I have tried garlic and the tape test, finding a bunch of them. What else can I do to get rid of these pinworms?

I am 47 years old and on a combined oral contraceptive pill. I have been experiencing night sweats, not just during my pill-free week but all the time, which is severely disrupting my sleep. For the past few days, the tip of my penis has a small itch here and there. It's not constant and there isn't any redness or discharge. It doesn't burn when I pee. The itchiness started randomly and is more focused on my urethra. I scratch it, and it stops for a few hours. I haven't used any medication for it and haven't seen a doctor. I am 23 years old and have had unprotected sex recently, but my partner was checked and all results were negative.

I had trigger finger surgery last Monday and continue to experience severe pain, with stitches that appear to be pulling out and are thick and tender. I have been using Percocet and Advil, but my stomach is reacting negatively. Is it possible that the wound is infected?
