I have a 50-year-old son who works as a tile setter and has fallen twice from roofs. He has not seen a doctor yet, despite my urging, and is taking Aspirin and Aleve. He is a heavy smoker and drinker, has trouble with breathing, and complains of weakness in his right leg and short, almost painful sensations on the top of his right foot. I suspect he may have COPD but he has not been diagnosed. What should we do?

I have an extreme burning sensation in my stomach and intestines. I have been using Tristam and Buscopan Co, but I am unsure how long this pain will last. I have not experienced vomiting or nausea, and the pain has been ongoing for two days. I had a camera swallow in December, and the doctor mentioned I have bad reflux at night.

I am experiencing excessive weight loss, diarrhea, and bad stomach pains, but X-rays show nothing. I am very worried about what could be causing these symptoms.

My husband had vertigo last night. He seems a bit better this morning. Should he see the doctor this week? He has had vertigo for brief periods several months ago. He is 91 years old and has a history of cancer, including a lung lobe removal, and receives Eligard injections every 3 months. He also has issues with oxygen levels when walking and recently refused oxygen equipment.

I am a 56-year-old woman with occasional atrial fibrillation. I take bisoprolol (half a tablet) daily. My atrial fibrillation started this evening at 5pm. I have since taken a total of 1.5 tablets and am still having an episode. Can I take additional bisoprolol, and what should I do about my current situation?
