I have a 9-year-old with excruciating and chronic chest pain in her sternum. The first diagnosis was costochondritis, but all tests (EKG, Echocardiogram, chest x-ray, bone scan, lab work, sed rate, etc.) have been fine. The rheumatologist team has also cleared her. The latest thought is that she might have a looping nerve causing the pain. She has spent over 10 days in two different hospitals, and morphine and oxycodone did not help with the pain. She is now on 100 mg of Neurontin, which has also not helped. What are your thoughts?

I have sharp pain that travels down the outside of my right leg, affecting my butt, outside of my knee joint, and outside of my ankle. The pain disappears when I stand tall and reach for the sky or lay on the ground and arch my back. I had this pain years ago and it went away after strengthening my back muscles.
