My father has been experiencing back pain and had swelling on his right leg, which has since subsided. He has a history of DVT and recently had a fresh episode of pulmonary embolism. The doctors have prescribed Clexane injections, Dabiclot, Xarelto, and Actitrom. What is the best treatment for his condition, and are there any additional precautions or procedures to prevent further complications?

I have sharp pain that travels down the outside of my right leg, affecting my butt, outside of my knee joint, and outside of my ankle. The pain disappears when I stand tall and reach for the sky or lay on the ground and arch my back. I had this pain years ago and it went away after strengthening my back muscles. Now, after doing lawnmower pulls, the pain has returned. Can you recommend any strength training exercises that might help prevent this pain?

I am looking for an alternative treatment for my shoulder problems (osteoarthritis and a rotator cuff tear), as I would not go for surgery (offered as an inversion bone replacement) nor having more cortisone shots. I am considering stem cell therapy and am unsure how regenerative therapy might help me. I have had osteoarthritis for decades, but it has recently become intolerable due to pain that prevents me from sleeping. I have completed an 8-week physical therapy course and have a history of total hip replacement (THR) on both hips, including reconstructive surgery in 2011 for my right hip due to a deep infection caused by metalosis. I was told that my body would not tolerate metal-on-metal (MOM) implants. I am 70 years old and am interested in learning more about stem cell therapy, particularly if it could be combined with younger stem cells from umbilical cords.
