My MPV is low and platelet count is high. Does this mean I have cancer? My MPV was normal in September. What could be causing the inflammation, and what should I do to address it?

I am looking for an alternative treatment for my shoulder problems (osteoarthritis and a rotator cuff tear), as I would not go for surgery (offered as an inversion bone replacement) nor having more cortisone shots. I am considering stem cell therapy and am unsure how regenerative therapy might help me. I have had osteoarthritis for decades, but it has recently become intolerable due to pain that prevents me from sleeping. I have completed an 8-week physical therapy course and have a history of total hip replacement (THR) on both hips, including reconstructive surgery in 2011 for my right hip due to a deep infection caused by metalosis. I was told that my body would not tolerate metal-on-metal (MOM) implants. I am 70 years old and am interested in learning more about stem cell therapy, particularly if it could be combined with younger stem cells from umbilical cords.

I had a cyst surgically removed from my tailbone a few years ago. Recently, after cleaning the area, inflammation started, and there is blood under the skin, causing pain and sensitivity. I'm also experiencing fever-like symptoms and dizziness. What should I do?

My wife is looking for a female doctor. She is experiencing odd discharge and odor. She had yeast infections years ago twice. When was her last doctor visit and what did they discuss? Is there anything else in her medical history the doctor should know?

I was dusting my classroom and a lot of dust went into my face and nose. Can brain-eating amoebas float in dust balls and pose a risk if they float in cyst form? If they enter my nose, do they crawl up to my brain? Is it possible to get infected off of my finger or hand if I touched dust and then scratched inside my nose? What would be a risk situation from indoor dust to get infected from a brain-eating amoeba? How would they get inside on top of a machine? Is sparkling mineral water like Topo Chico a risk for brain-eating amoeba survival, especially if used in a neti pot? Can you elaborate on the brain-eating amoebas' environment and survival conditions? Has it ever been discovered in dust or just a theory? Is infection possible off of a finger into the nose? Is sparkling mineral water (Topo Chico) water that would be risk for brain-eating amoeba surviving in, a family member accidentally used it in neti pot and I’m severely feared of the amoeba so I freak out , the company says it’s purified by physical processes , that doesn’t sound good enough to catch the amoeba.
