I have a friend who got a cold sore on his lip today. There's a chance he sipped from a can of soda I later sipped from. He had an active sore on his lip which seemed to be dark maroon as if it was healing. Just wanted to make sure chances of transmission if he directly sipped from soda or touched it after touching his sore.

I recently started medication for an ear infection, but the pain is severe, constant, and includes a strong achy pain with intermittent sharp shooting pain. There is also new ringing in my ear, and I am unable to sleep. I've tried ibuprofen and OTC pain meds without relief. Should I go to the ER, or wait?

I had an endoscopy this morning and have been sneezing non-stop since then. Propofol was used during the procedure, and I've never had this issue before. I am 59 years old, female, and had the endoscopy to look at my esophagus due to heartburn. I have no other health problems and am not on any regular medications. What could be causing the sneezing, and what can I do to alleviate it?

I’m having severe pelvic and back pain. Heating pad and rotating Tylenol and ibuprofen are not helping. I have stage 4 endometriosis and usually that helps during a flare but not currently. The pain kept me up most of the night and I’ve had some vomiting but mainly just severe nausea and haven't been able to keep anything down since Monday. Is the pelvic pain constant or does it come and go? What type of pain is it? Have you also experienced any numbness, muscle weakness, or increased fatigue? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I have had pitting on a few nails on and off for 20 years. Now I have noticed small spots of blood near the tips of my thumbs. Can this be nail psoriasis? I am worried about it manifesting into psoriatic arthritis. So worried the small splinter hemorrhage could be a sign of something worse.
