I hurt my shoulder a couple of months ago and got an MRI that showed a torn ligament. My doctor initially said it didn't need surgery, but the pain is getting worse daily and nothing is helping. The pain is constant and sharp, especially at night, and I'm currently taking ibuprofen or Tylenol. I'm 21 years old and have no other medical history. What are the odds I need surgery, and what should I do next?

My lanyard was dragging outside of my car while I drove. I came across an already dead raccoon on the opposite side of the lanyard. I touched the lanyard and touched my eye. Should I get a rabies PEP shot?
